Tema 23. Inglés.
La prueba de inglés consiste en la comprensión escrita y la ortografía sobre un texto en inglés, de acuerdo con el programa de la ESO descrito en el Real Decreto 1105/2014, junto con las estructuras gramaticales y el vocabulario propios de ese nivel.
Conceptos importantes
- El texto dice que Maria perdió la cartera en un autobús, llamó a la compañía y al día siguiente un conductor la encontró 'under a seat' sin que faltara nada. La idea principal es, por tanto, que recuperó la cartera.
- Los estudiantes pagan 'half the adult price' y los adultos pagan 8 euros: 8 / 2 = 4 euros. La entrada gratuita solo se aplica a niños menores de doce años y al primer domingo de mes.
- 'Its' es el posesivo (su cola) y 'it's' es la contracción de 'it is' (está contento). Solo la oración 'The dog wagged its tail because it's happy.' es correcta.
- 'Must' expresa obligación fuerte, como una norma legal. 'Can' y 'might' expresan posibilidad y 'would' no expresa obligación.
- 'Actually' es un falso amigo de 'actualmente'. Significa 'en realidad' o 'de hecho'. 'Actualmente' se traduce como 'currently' o 'nowadays'.
- El aviso ofrece 'a full refund' (reembolso total) o viajar en el tren de las 19:30 'with the same ticket' (con el mismo billete).
